What Are Implants?

Implants are titanium screws that are used to replace the roots of your missing teeth. They are used to support crowns, bridges, or dentures. Implants are surgically placed in your jawbone. Most of the time, implants feel more natural and secure than any other method of replacing missing teeth.

How Much Time Is Required For Implants?

The procedure is performed in two steps.

STEP 1 (Implant Placement) – When you decide to come in for placing your implants, it is a short, quick 30-min surgery under complete sterilization; after numbing the area, the gum is exposed, and a small drill helps place the implant into your jawbone.

Following the placement of the implants, our doctors may place resorbable sutures, and then you would be asked to visit us 5-6 days after the surgery for a follow-up, at home do expect mild to moderate swelling, but with good antibiotics, the pain and swelling can be kept to a minimum. The implant is left untouched for about 3-6 months to allow it to take hold within the bone; you can continue your normal daily routine.

STEP 2 (Crown Placement): After 3-6 months, we will call you back into our office to take a few measurement impressions. Depending on the complexity, these may take 2/3 appointments, but we plan this window to be about a 2-week period.

We fabricate the best possible teeth, meeting all the best international specifications, bringing you the perfect smile that you will be exceptionally proud of.
